Yeah, I Used AI. Did You Die? (A New Type of Authorship)

Why transparent AI collaboration is the future of creative work. Just make sure its your voice.

People ask if AI helped me write my blog posts. My answer? Of course it did. It’s Jatunica. That’s the whole point.

But also, did you enjoy it? Did it make you feel something? Did you die? No? Well, I got the job done then.

How This Actually Works Here’s the real story. I write about AI collaboration using a framework I developed called The Jatunica Method. It’s a practical approach for aligning AI responses to your creative voice and even creating your own AI Assistants. I’ve spent months developing this method to make AI interaction consistent, emotionally coherent, and productive. So when people ask, “Wait… did AI help you with this?”, it’s like asking a painter if they used a brush.

Yes. And it’s still a painting.

Why It Still Feels Like Me

What makes people nervous isn’t that AI was involved. It’s that the writing still felt personal. That it still sounded like me.

Here’s the thing: AI can only respond with what you teach it. And teaching AI is not cheating. People think if AI is involved, it must be doing the work. I’m just helping the AI respond in my voice.

That’s what The Jatunica Method is. Not automation or ghost-writing. Just a system for staying in authorship, even when you’re working with a machine.

But Is It Still Mine?

I get why the authorship question is real. I’ve felt it at that moment when I hit save, “Is it still mine if AI helped?”

And yes, those AI detector percentages feed into that doubt. Jatunica isn’t about beating them. It’s about getting your work done effectively with an amazing support tool.

Because I’ve also seen what happens when people use AI without any structure. It feels painfully obvious (em dash anyone?). Or they’ve spent so much time trying to beat the detector, it loses its spark. You might have used Grammarly to write your last email.

It’s 2025 so get with it. AI is there for a reason.

So yes. AI helps me. But not in place of me. With me.

In Case You Forgot the Title

Welcome to a new kind of authorship. It’s still your voice. It’s still your work. Just because AI is involved doesn’t make it any less.

If you felt something when you read this, it’s because I was still here and so was my AI.

Want to build your own voice?
